Kerr featured in the NWSL Team of the Month for April but upped her game even further in May, earning the recognition of the NWSL Media Association and taking her 2019 tally to six goals in six games.

Following the Red Stars’ 1-0 defeat against Utah Royals in Week 4, Chicago responded with back-to-back victories with Kerr named as Player of the Week on both occasions.

The 25-year-old, who plays for Perth Glory in the Westfield W-League, struck twice in a statement 3-1 win against reigning NWSL champions North Carolina Courage.

She backed that up with another double in a 2-1 triumph on the road against Westfield Matildas teammate Clare Polkinghorne’s Houston Dash.

Utah Royals attacker Amy Rodriguez finished second in Player of the Month voting and Washington Spirit goalkeeper Aubrey Bledsoe, who most recently won the Westfield W-League Championship with Sydney FC, completed the podium in third.
