Aussies Abroad: Gielnik features as Bayern Munich power to win

Emily Gielnik’s Bayern Munich kept up with the pace in the Frauen-Bundesliga by recording a 3-1 win against Potsdam.

The 31-cap Westfield Matilda was handed a starting role for the German giants following her goalscoring efforts in the midweek UEFA Women’s Champions League victory against Kazakhstan side BIIK Kazygurt.

A minute later, the home side doubled their advantage at FC Bayern Campus Platz 1 with Linda Dallmann on the score sheet.

And the 2018-19 Frauen-Bundesliga champions made it three on the stroke of half-time when Jovana Damnjanovic coverted from the penalty spot.
