Westfield Matildas maintain strong World Ranking

The Westfield Matildas remain the sixth-best side in the world according the latest FIFA Women's World Rankings.

The rankings, released on Friday night (AEDT), saw some movement around the Westfield Matildas with England leapfrogging France into third while Japan moved up to seventh in place of the Netherlands.

Ante Milicic's side have won all three games in 2019, taking out the Cup of Nations in the process, and their unchanged position reaffirms their position as one of the top-seeded teams at the upcoming FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019tm.

The Westfield Matildas will have the chance to further gauge where their preparations are at when they clash with the team ranked number one, the United States.

The squad are currently in camp in Colorado ahead of the match on 5 April (AEDT).
