Arsenal v AFC Ajax

Caitlin Foord and Steph Catley's Arsenal hosted Dutch side AFC Ajax, looking to kick start their UWCL campaign with a win to put them on the front foot for the second leg.

Catley made her return to the starting xi for Arsenal, while Foord came off the bench in the second half of the game.

The Gunners fell behind early, with Romee Leuchter finding the opener for the visitors. Stina Blackstenius found the equaliser before the break, pouncing on a rebound off the crossbar.

Captain Kim Little gave Arsenal the lead from the spot, however, with just seven minutes remaining Leuchter doubled her advantage to end the game 2-2.

Arsenal has everything to play for next week in Amsterdam, the second leg will kick off next Thursday morning at 3:00 am AEST.

SK Brann Kvinner v FC Rosengård

Next up, Tameka Yallop's SK Brann Kvinner hosted Teagan Micah's FC Rosengård for a spot in the group stage, with both sides never having qualified for the UWCL group stage.

Micah started for the visitors, but it was the home side that got on the front foot first with Svava Rós Guðmundsdóttir opening the scoring, finding the back of the net for the second game in a row.

Paris Saint-Germain F.C. v BK Häcken

Lastly, Lydia Williams' Paris Saint-Germain hosted Aivi Luik's BK Häcken for a place in the group stage.

In what looked destined to be another draw on the cards, up stepped Kadidiatou Diani to find the match-winner for PSG in the 86th minute.
