The 2010 AFC Women-s Asian Cup-winning coach Tom Sermanni described Hyundai A-League fans as the life blood to the sport.
“They really bring some passion and they-re the most important people,” Matildas coach Sermanni said in a candid video interview with a-league.com.au.
“I think there are some magnificent fans in the Hyundai A-League.”
The Scotland born coach is desperate to see some local football and is really looking forward to the start of the 2011/2012 Hyundai A-League season, now only 9 days away.
“I get a sense that the league is going to be filled with quality football and the interest with Harry Kewell and Brett Emerton will see the crowds increasing,” the 2011 World Cup quarter-finalist coach said off camera.
