England

Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Manchester United all enjoyed wins this weekend.

It was the Sam Kerr and Beth England double act for the Blues as they defeated West Ham 2-0. England first teed up Kerr for a powerful header from close range in the first half.

Kerr's cross in from the right then found the oncoming England in the second stanza to secure another three points for Chelsea.

With no Mackenzie Arnold in the squad, Emily van Egmond was the lone Aussie in the Hammers squad. While she created some chances for West Ham, Chelsea was too good.

Caitlin Foord marked her return to the starting line up with a quick fire double in Arsenal's 4-0 win over Birmingham City.

The Gunners peppered Hannah Hampton's goal but it took Foord to break the deadlock. Goal one wasn't pretty but the ball was eventually bundled over the line, while goal two was much slicker with the Australian tapping in from close range.

Goals to Vivianne Miedema and Lisa Evans rounded out the victory. Miedema continues to lead the golden boot with Kerr two goals behind her. Foord's brace brings her into fourth place.

Alanna Kennedy's Tottenham fell to Brighton 2-0 while Hayley Raso's short cameo for Everton produced some of the Toffees best chances, but they lost to Manchester City 1-0.

Spain

Aivi Luik's Sevilla earned a 2-1 victory over Valencia in Spain. The Westfield Matilda continues to play in the heart of defence, while her team maintains its spot in the top half of the table.
