Sam Kerr's brilliant start to the 2019 National Women's Soccer League season continues, with the Westfield Matildas and Chicago Red Stars forward named in the NWSL May Team of the Month
Awarded Player of the Month honours for May on Friday, Australian captain and two-time NWSL Golden Boot winner Kerr has been in unstoppable form for the Red Stars in recent weeks.
Her double led Chicago to a statement 3-1 win over reigning champions North Carolina Courage on May 13, and Kerr followed that with another pair of excellent strikes away to Houston Dash one week later.

The 25-year-old, who has six goals in six games overall, is joined by Red Stars teammate and Brisbane Roar attacker Yuki Nagasato in May's best eleven, while Sydney FC custodian Aubrey Bledsoe was also included by the NWSL Media Association.
