Jamaica and Czechia will face off on the second matchday of the 2023 Cup of Nations, playing the opening game of the doubleheader at CommBank Stadium.

This tournament will mark the first meeting between the two countries in an 'A' international, with the two up-and-coming countries in women's football never taken one another on.
Czechia comes into the Cup of Nations tournament with the better record on paper, winning three of their last five games. While Jamaica faced a 2-1 loss to Paraguay at the end of the year and come into the tournament with two wins in their last five.
Both countries have locked in their squad that will play in the tournament, with Jamaica's coach Lorne Donaldson naming a 24-player squad filled with some experienced veterans.
Meanwhile, Czechia's coach Karel Rada has named a 23-player squad, headlined by captain Petra Bertholdová who has 103 caps for her country.
Lorne Donaldson has had a late change to his squad for the upcoming tournament, with top goalscorer and captain Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw being a late exclusion from the squad, replaced by Shania Hayles.
