Teagan Micah is enjoying being back in her home away from home as the Commonwealth Bank Matildas prepare to face the Republic of Ireland.
Micah has had a whirlwind few months but is happy to be back amongst familiar faces.
“I'm looking forward to just coming back in, getting some good training and getting the girls back together again," Micah said.
"I feel like it's a home away from home with us now, we're really close, so it's nice to come in and see familiar faces, get some good training and get a win against Ireland too, hopefully.”
After a strong Olympic campaign where she played five of Australia’s six games and produced some spectacular goalkeeping displays, the 23-year-old has had a chance to rest and is settling into life at her new club, FC Rosengård.
“Post-Tokyo, I had a little holiday in America, which was nice and I've recently joined a new club in Sweden, FC Rosengård, so I've just been trying to settle in there and played a few games. It's an adjustment, I'm just trying to find my feet," she said.
"I really love Sweden. It’s a great city, I've got a great setup, the club's been amazing and really supportive. Hopefully, I can just get in a good rhythm there and put in some good performances for the club.”
Micah is one of a number of players returning to the squad after the Toky Olympic campaign. However, Head Coach Tony Gustavsson has also included several new faces, including players in line to make their debut and those returning to the squad.

Most recently, Kyah Simon and Ellie Carpenter were withdrawn from the squad with Fortuna Hjørring pair Indiah-Paige Riley and Clare Wheeler coming in.
After making her debut not too long ago, Micah knows what it takes to make the most of your opportunity and be accepted into the Commonwealth Bank Matildas family.
“It's nice for them, they get to come in as a bunch and they have each other for support, so hopefully they get to showcase their talent against Ireland, make a name for themselves and hopefully stay in the squad.
“It's just about being yourself and your time will come," Micah said of earning your place in the squad.
"The girls respect hard work and if you put that out on the pitch, then you're in the group."
