Friends for five years, Alanna Kennedy and Shelina Zadorsky were set to face each other on the other side of the pitch for only the second time in their careers.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic put a halt to the scheduled April 14 match between Canada and the Westfield Matildas at the site of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2015 Final - BC Place.
The postponement didn't stop Kennedy and Zadorsky missing a chance to catch up as they went live on Instagram.

Former teammates at Perth Glory and current teammates at Orlando Pride the defensive duo discussed life at the back, favourite moments on the pitch, favourite Aussie slang and an invitation for Zadorsky to return to Australia and visit New Zealand for a potential FIFA Women's World Cup in 2023.
