Defending champions Chelsea, featuring Westfield Matildas captain Sam Kerr, will take on Manchester United away from home in the start of their title defence.

Opening weekend will see the first clash of Westfield Matildas' teammates with Chloe Logarzo's Bristol City commencing their campaign on familiar grounds as they host Hayley Raso's Everton.

Meanwhile Caitlin Foord, Steph Catley and Lydia Williams' Arsenal will also have home ground advantage when they meet Reading.

For Mackenzie Arnold's West Ham United, they will travel from East London to North London as they face Tottenham Hotspur.

All seven Westfield Matildas have been settling into their new homes over the past fortnight ahead of their first full seasons in the English top flight.

As well as the opening weekend, the Football Association has also released the second round of matches.

That round of matches will see two sets of Aussie v Aussie clashes with Chelsea hosting Bristol City and Arsenal heading down the road to West Ham.  Meanwhile Everton will have their first home game as they welcome Tottenham Hotspur.

The full fixture list will be released in early September while kick off times and broadcast information will be revealed once confirmed.
