Courtney Nevin scores her first goal in Sweden; while Remy Siemsen and Katrina Gorry made their debut for their new sides.

Clare Polkinghorne and Katrina Gorry both started for Vittsjö GIK as they searched for their first win of the season against Djurgårdens. Gorry made her debut for the Swedish side, playing the whole 90 minutes for Vittsjö.


Nellie Persson scored the winner for Vittsjö in the 82nd minute, helping to record her side's first win of the season. 

Over in Linköping, Courtney Nevin scored her first goal for Hammarby in their 3-1 defeat to Linköping.

Nevin's goal from a free-kick comes less than a week after making her debut and being awarded player of the match for her new side. 


Hammarby went down to ladder leaders Linköping, with Kyra Cooney-Cross still recovering from an injury that kept her out of Australia's recent friendlies against New Zealand, this injury has meant the midfielder still awaits her debut for Hammarby. 

Remy Siemsen made her debut for AIK in their narrow defeat to Teagan Micah and Charli Grant's FC Rosengård. 


Siemsen bagged an assist on AIK's only goal of the day, sending in a cross to Kaisa Collin on the back post, able to finish past Micah.
