Canadian veteran Christine Sinclair moved to second on the All-Time NWSL Goalscorers tally, still, 19 goals behind Sam Kerr, when she doubled the Thorns' advantage on the other side of the break.

Two goals in the final 10 minutes to Taylor Kornieck saw Wave secure a late 2-2 draw to hold on to first on the ladder.

Moving over to Sweden, Teagan Micah and Charli Grant's FC Rosengård extended their unbeaten run to 13 games with a 6-0 win over Kalmar. Micah and Grant both started for the visitors.
