Westfield Matildas stars Sam Kerr and Lydia Williams are in contention to claim prestigious individual honours after standout seasons in the National Women's Soccer League.

Superstar striker Kerr is one of five finalists for the Most Valuable Player title after again setting an exceptional standard in front of goal.

The Chicago Red Stars ace scooped the Golden Boot for the second successive season after netting 16 times in 19 appearances.

Wiliams, meanwhile, is in a three-player race to be named Goalkeeper of the Year.

The experienced shot-stopper featured in 17 matches as she helped Seattle Reign finish third in the regular season, winning the Goalkeeper of the Month accolade in August.
