“It would be fantastic to walk onto Telstra Stadium on Wednesday to find the stadium a sea of gold,” says Viduka (pictured right).

”The Uruguayans do a great job of supporting their team and we need the Australian supporters to do likewise, and every bit of support could be crucial in helping the team achieve our World Cup goal.

“It has been great to receive the pledges of support from the Destiny 06 website and other messages from back home and we really feel that the Australian public is fully behind us.”
