Yallop said in a statement: “ I am happy to be back in Norway. I like the league and when I got the opportunity to return to a top club I couldn't say no,"

The midfielder has signed an agreement with Brann that is valid until 31 July 2023, but it can be extended.

“We wanted to strengthen ourselves before a busy and content-rich autumn. With Tameka, we gain both quality and experience, which will be important for the rest of the season. We will win the series in our first season as Brann (formerly IL Sandviken), and Tameka has well over 100 matches for the national team. That experience will be important for us," acting coach and sports manager, Olli Harder.

Yallop is no stranger to being coached by Harder, with the New Zealand coach leading Klepp IL for three seasons, as well as coaching West Ham United last season.

“As a player, the most enjoyable thing is to play matches. Therefore, it will be very exciting to be part of the rest of the season," Yallop continued to say after her signing.

The midfielder has already made her debut for her new side, coming off the bench in the 72nd minute as Brann beat Arna-Bjørnar 6-0 to stay at the top of the table.
