Westfield Matildas defender Steph Catley has returned to play after four months out with a serious hamstring injury.
Starting the match on the substitutes bench, Catley was called upon with 9 minutes remaining as The Gunners attempted to gain a result away at Everton.
The 27-year-old's return to the pitch was a successful one with the Gunners converting a 94th minute penalty to win the match, giving Arsenal some crucial breathing room from Manchester United, who are challenging for the last European spot.
It was the first time Joe Montemurro had called on the defender in 2021, despite naming Catley in the match day squad last week.
