Sam Kerr named 2021/22 PFA WSL Fans' Player of Year

Sam Kerr has won the 2021/22 PFA Vertu Motors WSL Fans' Player of Year after taking a 28% share of the final vote.

The Chelsea striker had another stunning season with the Blues, netting 20 goals in 20 appearances, helping Chelsea to their third consecutive WSL title.

Kerr also collected the WSL Golden Boot for her second consecutive season, also helping the Blues to back-to-back Women's FA Cup titles with a game-winning goal scored in extra time.

The award is the latest individual accolade that Kerr has scooped this year, having already been named WSL Player of the Season and Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year and named PFA Women's Footballer of the Year at the Dolan Warren Awards last Thursday. 


Manchester City centre-back Alex Greenwood came in second with a 25% share of the vote, and Arsenal’s Vivianne Miedema completed the top three with 18% of the votes.
