Five Westfield Matildas are on the verge of appearing in the prestigious cup competition with Everton (Raso), Chelsea (Kerr) and Arsenal (Caitlin Foord, Steph Catley, Lydia Williams) all still in the running to lift the trophy.

Like many competitions around the football world, the Women's FA Cup was suspended in May following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The continuation of the competition will see holders Manchester City battle it out against six other FA Women’s Super League clubs and FA Women’s Championship side Leicester City.

The Quarter-Finals will commence on the weekend of  26-27 September, with the Semi-Finals on 30 September  and 1 October.

For the sixth year in a row Wembley Stadium will host the Final on 31 October.

If any of the teams of the five Westfield Matildas were to claim the trophy, history would be made as the first Australians to capture the Women's FA Cup.
