Sam Kerr, Hayley Raso and the Westfield Matildas have all been nominated for awards at the prestigious Women’s Health Women in Sport Awards.
Westfield Matildas skipper Kerr, who was honoured as a Leadership Legend at the awards 12 months ago, has been nominated for two accolades in 2019.
The 26-year-old is in the running for the Sportswoman of the Year award, as well as the Moment of the Year for her incredible four-goal haul against Jamaica at this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Raso, who returned from a broken back last year to play at the tournament in France is up for the Comeback of the Year.
And the Westfield Matildas are one of five sides in contention to win the A-Team of the Year prize.

Voting closes on Sunday, October 13, with the award winners to be announced on on Friday, October 18, with the event to be broadcast on Channel 7.
