Gareth Taylor's side will be hoping to claim the Conti Cup for the fourth time in their history when they play Chelsea in the final next month.

Alanna Kennedy and Hayley Raso started on the bench after returning from international duty throughout the week, while Kyah Simon made the start for Spurs.

Both teams had chances to find the opener early, with Jessica Naz firing just wide for Spurs and Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw also unable to find the back of the net at the other end.

The hosts finally found the opener through youngster Jess Park, making a run through the Spurs area and slotting the ball past the keeper.

Six minutes later, City would double their advantage through Shaw. The initial shot from Caroline Weir was blasted towards the goal but the deflection found Park who crossed it to an unmarked Shaw.

City took the 2-0 lead into the break, and added the third in the 71st minute to seal the win. Park again picked up her second assist of the night, sending a cross into Lauren Hemp at the back post who towered over the Spurs defenders to find the third.

Raso and Kennedy entered the fray at the 80-minute mark, with Taylor using his maximum number of substitutes to ensure all players would be ready for a final in less than a months’ time.
