Westfield Matildas defender Gema Simon is back at Newcastle Jets for the upcoming Westfield W-League 2020/21 Season, and will take on the responsibility of co-captain once again this campaign.
Simon, 30, was part of the Jets' inaugural W-League squad in 2008/09, and is the equal fourth-highest appearance holder in the competition's history.
Simon will share the captaincy role with Cassidy Davis once again, with over 200 games of Westfield W-League experience between them.
The Westfield W-League 2020/21 Season begins on December 27, with Newcastle Jets kicking off their campaign the following day against Brisbane Roar at home.
