Gallery: Westfield Matildas meet the fans ahead of Vietnam clash

Watching the Westfield Matildas prepare for their Olympic Games play-off against Vietnam is one thing, getting to meet your heroes is something even better.

But that’s what happened for a host of Westfield Matildas fans on Thursday as Ante Milicic threw open the gates to a training session in Newcastle.

Fans – young and old alike – got to see the squad go through their paces before having the opportunity to get an autograph or pose for a photo with the players.
