WHAT-S MAKING THE NEWS

FFA AGREE TIME COMPRIMISE

The FFA has told FIFA that it would prefer to keep the kick-off time for the first leg in Montevideo at 9.00pm, but is willing to compromise if need be and have a 7.00pm kick-off.

Uruguay requested the change after realising it could not get the charter flight it needed and the 9.00pm start would not allow them time to get connecting commercial flights that night.

FIFA said that it would only change the times if the FFA agreed, although Uruguay believes it can change the times if it needed to.
