De Vanna at the double as Westfield Matildas sweep aside Thailand

Lisa De Vanna scored twice on home soil to lead the Westfield Matildas to a confidence-boosting 5-0 win over Thailand at nib Stadium on Monday night.

Australia turned on the style in their first ever match in Western Australia as Alex Chidiac, Chloe Logarzo and Larissa Crummer joined Perth product De Vanna on the scoresheet.

The result marked a timely return to winning ways for Alen Stajcic's side, who will head to Jordan for next month's AFC Women's Asian Cup in a buoyant mood.
