This tournament will mark the eighth time the two countries have played one another in an 'A' international, with their last meeting seeing Spain record a 4-0 win over Czechia in the UEFA Women's Euro 2022 qualifying.

Spain went on to top their qualifying group with seven wins, while Czechia finished in second spot and missed out on qualifying for their first major tournament.

Seven previous meetings for the two sides have seen Spain collect six wins and one draw in 2007. Spain had four different goalscorers in their last win over their fellow UEFA compatriots, with Esther González, Patricia Guijarro, Aitana Bonmatí and Alexia Putellas finding the back of the net.

While most of Czechia's team ply their trade in their own country, midfielder Klára Cahynová is familiar with the Spanish style of football, having played for Sevilla FC since 2021.
