The full-back made 28 appearances for Wanderers, making her debut at 16 years old in the 2018/19 season.

After making her Commonwealth Bank Matildas debut earlier in the year against Denmark, and then going on to represent her country at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, coach Jeff Hopkins is excited to add the defender to his team for the upcoming season.

“Courtney is one of the country’s best young talents and we are thrilled to have her join our squad for the team’s title defence,” Hopkins told melbournevictory.com.au

“We’ll continue to develop and nurture Courtney’s development as one of the brightest prospects in Australian football – especially with the 2023 Women’s World Cup on the horizon.” Hopkins went on to say.

Nevin joins fellow Commonwealth Bank Matilda Kyra Cooney-Cross at the club. The two have played together for most of their junior career, from Western Sydney Wanderers to representing the Young Matildas together with the pair making their senior debut together in June against Denmark.

“It’s really exciting to be heading to Melbourne Victory to join the Champions for the upcoming season. I can’t wait to get started,” Nevin told melbournevictory.com.au

“The last 12 months has been one of the most exciting years for me in my short career – making my Matildas debut and joining the team at the Olympics – and I’m looking forward to continuing that momentum with Melbourne Victory this season.”
