The CommBank Matildas have confirmed Aivi Luik has completed Football Australia’s concussion Graduated Return to Play protocol and is back in full team training. Luik’s successful completion of the protocol means the defender will be available for selection in Australia’s upcoming Round of 16 fixture against Denmark on 7 August 2023.
Fellow defender Charli Grant has commenced the Graduated Return to Play protocol after she suffered delayed concussive symptoms following the final minutes of the match against Canada. Grant has fully recovered and, at this stage, is also on track to be available for selection against the Danes.
