Football Australia today confirmed that Commonwealth Bank Matildas midfielder Tameka Yallop has tested positive for COVID-19.
In accordance with the AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022™ and Football Australia protocols, she is being monitored in isolation by Football Australia’s medical team.
Following routine testing under the AFC protocols, all other players and staff have returned negative tests.
To respect the privacy of Tameka, Football Australia will not be making any further comment.
