Titleholders Chelsea will take on last year's runners-up Arsenal for a spot in the final, meaning one of the two teams that featured in last years final will be forced to make an early exit from the competition.

Sam Kerr was on the scoresheet, and picked up the Player of the Match, in last year's final when the Blues beat the Gunners 3-0 to claim the title for the third time.

Since that loss for the Gunners, Chelsea has been unable to beat the current WSL ladder leaders in the domestic competition.

The fixture, set for mid-April, will be an enthralling one for natural fans, with Arsenal determined to avenge their 3-0 loss in last year's final while Chelsea will be looking to claim the title back-to-back for the first time ever.

Arsenal's journey to the Women's FA Cup semi-finals has seen them not yet concede a goal, having scored nine goals of their own, with Caitlin Foord picking up a double in Arsenal's 4-0 win over Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Chelsea has only conceded one goal in their FA Cup run, coming against fellow WSL side Aston Villa. The Blues have scored 15 goals across their three games, with Kerr finding the back of the net twice.

This game semi-final game will be after the international window, set to kick off on Sunday the 17th of April at 11:00 pm AEST.

The other semi-final fixture will see Mackenzie Arnold and Tameka Yallop's West Ham United host Alanna Kennedy and Hayley Raso's Manchester City.

This tie is also a repeat of a Women's FA Cup final, the two sides met back in the 2019 final, with City upsetting the Hammers in their first Women's FA Cup finals appearance with a 3-0 win.

West Ham will be looking to repeat their run to 2019 final, and are now just one more win away from heading back to Wembley Stadium.

"To be honest, I don’t mind who we play, I’d just prefer the game to be at home. We’ve had three away games in the FA Cup so far, so I’d love to have a game at our place, where we’ve been strong this season. " Hammers coach Olli Harder explained.

Harder's wish came true, with West Ham finally hosting an FA Cup tie against previous winners City.

The two sides have only met once in the FA WSL this season, with the Hammers recording a massive 2-0 win over City, their first win over the side from Manchester.

On the other hand, Manchester City has already collected the Conti Cup trophy this year and will be hoping a trip to Wembley is on the cards.

West Ham and City will play one another in the WSL before the international break, and just over two weeks before their all-important FA Cup semi-final.

This game is set to kick off on Sunday the 17th of April at 11:00 pm AEST.
