Campbell a coup for Perth Glory

Goalkeeper Eliza Campbell has re-signed for the Reds 2017/18 Westfield W-League campaign.

Perth Glory pulled off a major coup in securing the services of goalkeeper Eliza Campbell for the 2018/19 Westfield W-League season last week.

The 23-year-old made her Westfield Matildas debut against China last year and is regarded as one of the best shot-stoppers in the country.

She said she’s relishing the prospect of helping Bobby Despotovski's side in their quest for a maiden W-League title.

"The aim is to definitely make finals and then progress from there and I'm confident that we're going to have a good enough team at Perth to do that," Campbell said.

"I thought coming to Perth would a good change for me. Perth has always seemed like a good place to go to and a good club to play for, so I thought I'd give it a go."
