Her 2018 so far:

A national team veteran of over a decade, Butt remains a central figure for club and country.

The midfielder's year began on a high as she helped Brisbane Roar wrap up a third Premiership in February.

The following months were less kind as Butt was forced to endure the disappointment of a premature Finals Series exit in the Westfield W-League and the Westfield Matildas' heartbreaking loss at the AFC Women's Asian Cup.

But the 27-year-old former Julie Dolan Medal Winner has bounced back brilliantly, scoring three goals in nine games to date for Norwegian side Klepp.

It's her second stint with the Toppserien team and appears to be providing a solid grounding for a strong showing in the United States.
