It’s less than a month to go until the Westfield Matildas are back in action on home soil, with a two-game series against China in Victoria.
The two matches will take place at AAMI Park on Wednesday, 22 November and Simonds Stadium in Geelong four days later.
But how have the Westfield Matildas historically fared in Victoria in the past?
We take a look at the last three times Australia have played matches in the state.
2016 v NEW ZEALAND
Both Australia and New Zealand had qualified for the Rio Olympics, so two friendly matches were arranged as part of their respective build-ups.
The first was played at Morshead Park Stadium in Ballarat.
Caitlin Foord got the ball rolling early for Australia, opening the scoring in just the fifth minute.
There was no further scoring in the first half, but six minutes into the second stanza, Foord was again on target to double the lead.
Coach Alen Stajcic took the opportunity to roll his substitutes as Australia ran out 2-0 winners.
2016 v NEW ZEALAND
Three days later the two nations met again, this time at Docklands Stadium in Melbourne.
The game served as a curtain-raiser for the men's international between the Caltex Socceroos and Greece.
After a goal-less first half, it was the kiwis who took the lead after 64 minutes through Katie Bowen.
But Australia squared the ledger when Lisa De Vanna equalised after 73 minutes with the match finishing 1-1.
2006 v MEXICO
In the final match of a three-game series against Mexico, Australia completed a clean sweep, winning 4-0 at Anderson Reserve, home of Port Melbourne Soccer Club.
It took until the final minute of the first half for the Matildas to open the scoring, with Mexican goalkeeper Pamela Tajonar making a rare error and allowing Caitlin Munoz to pounce and score.
Within moments of the start of the second half, Munoz anticipated a back pass from a Mexican defender and beat Tajonar with a well-taken shot to give her side a 2-0 lead.
Sarah Walsh slotted home the third goal on the hour-mark, before Munoz completed her hat-trick, scoring from a tight angle courtesy of a deflection off Tajonar.
