West Brom set their sights on Rhys Williams

West Browmich Albion chase the signature of Socceroo defender Rhys Williams.

Socceroos and Middlesbrough defender Rhys Williams has been linked with yet another English Premier League club, this time the suitor is fifteenth-placed West Bromwich Albion.

The news comes on the heels of other clubs in the top flight showing interest in Williams, who can also play in the midfield.

The clubs West Brom have joined in the race for the Australian-s signature are Liverpool, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Bolton Wanderers, who have all at times shown interest in Williams.

Just last year Bolton reportedly offered up $4.51 million pounds for his services but he turned them down to stay at Boro.

With Middlesbrough currently sitting fourth in the Championship, chasing promotion back into the top flight and with 18 months left on his contract Williams may stay loyal to them yet again, but if they were to fail in their bid, come season-s end it is almost certain Williams would be likely to find another club as he chases his Premier League dream.
