After a goalless first half at Kingsmeadow, Chelsea came out firing in the second half with Sophie Ingle opening the scoring from a corner. Erin Cuthbert doubled the home side's advantage just 8 minutes later, sending in a cross that found the back of the net.

Chelsea records their third win of the group stage and is yet to concede a goal so far in the competition.

Elsewhere, Lydia Williams' Paris Saint-Germain collected their first victory in the group stage, beating Vllaznia 5-0.

Ahead of the game, neither side had found the back of the net in the group stage, however, PSG quickly changed that with Grace Geyoro and an own goal by a Vllaznia defender giving the home side a 2-0 lead going into the break.

Goals to Ramona Bachmann, Sandy Baltimore and Magnaba Koné Folquet saw Paris seal their first win, and move to second in the standings. Williams remained on the bench in the victory.

Both Aussies started and played the entire game, with Foord playing on the left win and Catley in the centreback role. Foord had the chance to open the scoring early in the second half, getting on the end of Jordan Nobbs' cross but was unable to squeeze the ball past Pauline Peyraud-Magnin from a tight angle.
