Australian midfielder James Troisi has been offered a three-year deal by cashed-up Qatar club El Jaish.

The midfielder, who has attracted interest from Europe since quitting Turkish Superliga team Kayserispor is in Australia considering the lucrative contract.

It has been reported that El Jaish will receive an answer shortly with Troisi's Adelaide-based father and advisor Alby Troisi confirming his son is weighing up what will be "a huge decision".

"It-s true that a sizeable offer has been placed in front of James," Alby Troisi said. "He-s been away in Sydney on a break and he-ll have a good look at it when he returns to Adelaide," Alby Troisi said.

"Financially it-s a very good deal. The decision for James is whether to take something which could set him up for life or instead opt for Europe."
