The Socceroos will take on Costa Rica in a friendly at Allianz Stadium on Tuesday 19 November.
Football Federation Australia (FFA) and the Federación Costarricense de Fútbol (Costa Rican Football Fédération) today announced that the Socceroos will meet the Costa Rican Men-s National Football team, Los Ticos.
The international friendly match at Allianz Stadium, Sydney on Tuesday 19 November 2013 (kick-off at 7:30pm AEDT).
The clash with the Costa Ricans will be new Socceroos head coach Ange Postecoglou's first match in charge of the Australian national team.
Like the Socceroos, Costa Rica has already qualified for the 2014 FIFA World Cup finishing in second position from the CONCACAF qualifiers behind the USA.
This will be the first official meeting between Costa Rica and Socceroos at senior men-s international level.
The match between the Socceroos and Costa Rica will be broadcast live and exclusive on FOX SPORTS.
