Sam Kerr's amazing 2017 for club and country

Westfield Matildas superstar Sam Kerr will never forget 2017 - and neither will the fans! 

The 24-year-old has enjoyed the year of her life - for both club and country - to become arguably the best female footballer on the planet. 

And with a remarkable 39 goals in 44 games for Australia, Perth Glory and Sky Blue FC, it's hard to argue against that assertion.

She has played 11 times for the Westfield Matildas, 22 games for Sky Blue FC in the NWSL and 11 matches for Perth Glory in the Westfield W-League.

Kerr has found the net an astonishing 39 times in 2017.

That tally includes four hat-tricks, two for Sky Blue FC, one for Perth Glory and one for the Westfield Matildas against Japan at the Tournament of Nations.

She has also netted five braces, including three for the national side.
