Salisbury scores for World Stars in China loss

Matildas captain Cheryl Salisbury scored for the FIFA Women’s World Stars team, but was still on the losing side, as China grabbed a late winner in the All Stars game played in the lead up to the FIFA Women’s World Cup draw being held in Wuhan in China later tonight.

Salisbury levelled the scores at two-apiece late in the first half, with a powerful header and was one of only four World Stars players to play a full game.

China won the match in the dying minutes of an entertaining game, with Ji Ting scoring the winning goal.

Salisbury was not the only Australian representative in the match, with referee Tammy Ogston controlling the match in what surely is the highlight of here career to date.
