Qantas Under 23s to Face Iraq, Lebanon & DPR Korea

The Qantas Under 23s have drawn Iraq, Lebanon and DPR Korea in Group A of the AFC Final Round Qualifying for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

The Qantas Under 23s have drawn Iraq, Lebanon and DPR Korea in Group A of the AFC Final Round Qualifying for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The Australians, who were ranked in the lowest tier for the draw which was held at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur today, will need to finish at the top of the group over their six pool matches to qualify for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

The group matches will be held from 22 August - 21 November 2007 with full match & ticketing details to be announced shortly.

The Qantas Under 23's progressed to the final round of qualifying after finishing second in Group D of the second round of qualifying behind Saudi Arabia.
