Bresciano missed the home tie last night, while Grella (pictured right) was replaced after 70 minutes, as Parma struggled to get a first leg lead to take to Stuttgart, where the Germans have a 100% winning record in the competition.

Parma however rested many of their stars, as they have a crucial match against Brescia on the weekend, as they continue to battle away from the relegation zone in Italy-s Serie A.
