Olympic qualifier tickets on sale

Tickets will go on sale tomorrow for the crucial opening qualification match for the 2008 Olympics between the Qantas U-23s and Chinese Taipei in Adelaide. The match will be played next Wednesday (February 7) at Hindmarsh Stadium.

The Australian team is filled with young stars of the Hyundai A-League including Adelaide United-s Nathan Burns, Robert Cornthwaite and Bruce Djite. Australia-s future Socceroos stars will have the chance to take centre stage with players such as Mark Milligan and Kristian Sarkies already capped at senior level.

Australia will meet Chinese Taipei in the second leg of the preliminary qualification stage on Wednesday 14 February with the winner to progress to Group D in the second stage of qualification alongside Iran, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
