Qantas Young Matildas midfielder Collette McCallum capped off some terrific performances at the FIFA U/20 Women-s World Championships in Russia last month, by being named in the All-star squad.

McCallum was the only player from Australia to be named in the 21-player list, with FIFA naming 10 of those players as their star players, during the three-week tournament, which was won by DPR Korea in emphatic fashion against China.

Collette scored twice in the 3-0 win over New Zealand in the team's opening match and starred in the Qantas Young Matildas final match against Russia, which they drew 1-1 and saw them miss out on a place in the second round.

She was especially dangerous at set pieces and even scored direct from a corner against New Zealand.

Collette has already appeared 18 times for the senior team, Qantas Matildas, helping the team qualify for the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup with a second place finish at the AFC Women's Asian Cup in Adelaide in July.
