The UEFA Women's Champions League group stage has been drawn, with plenty of Matildas fighting for a chance to advance to the quarter-finals.
The revamped competition format will feature a 16-team group stage, replacing the round of 16. The group stage has some huge match-ups in all four groups. With title holders FC Barcelona up against former winners Arsenal, while two-time champions Wolfsburg take on Sam Kerr's Chelsea, who were the 2021 runners up.
With a new broadcast deal, all games from the group stage onwards will be shown live across the world.
With all games streamed for free within Australia on streaming platform DAZN, shown live on their YouTube channel.
Six Commonwealth Bank Matildas will feature in the UWCL group stage, with Ellie Carpenter's Lyon and Dylan Holmes' BK Häcken sides facing off in Group D action.
Current title holders FC Barcelona and direct entrants Bayern München, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are joined by the 12 round two winners, with former champions Arsenal, Lyon and Wolfsburg joining them.
Each side will play against each other in a home-and-away round-robin format, the top two teams at the end of the group stage will advance to the quarter-finals.
Group A
Sam Kerr's Chelsea are facing Wolfsburg for the fifth time in seven seasons, with the Blues knocking Wolfsburg out in last season's quarter-finals.
The last time the two sides met, the fixture ended 5-1 on aggregate, with Kerr bagging one in both legs.
The side from Germany have previously won the competition back-to-back in the 2012/13 2013/14 seasons and were runners up in the 2017–18 and 2019–20 seasons.
Chelsea's first matchup against Wolfsburg will be their most difficult challenge of the group stage, their second game of the group stage will be against Italian side Juventus.
After last season's heartbreaking loss in the UWCL final, Chelsea will be out to kick off their campaign with a win.

Group C
Caitlin Foord, Steph Catley and Lydia Williams' Arsenal will be competing in Group C. Their group consists of two newcomers, Hoffenheim and HB Køge and current titleholders FC Barcelona.
Their first test of the group stage will be taking on Barcelona at home. Arsenal had four convincing wins in the round two qualifiers to make their way into the group stage, and are in sublime form at the moment in the WSL.
Lydia Williams made her UWCL debut in Arsenal's most recent win over Salvia Praha, earning a clean sheet.
Arsenal, with plenty of stars in their side, will surely bring a challenge to Barcelona. With some changes in personnel to both sides in the off-season, this fixture will definitely be one to watch in Group C.

Group D
After Lyon's five-year reign as champions was ended last season, Ellie Carpenter's side are looking to regain their position as Europe's best.
Their opening fixture of the group stage will be against Dylan Holmes' BK Häcken. Swedish star Stina Blackstenius will be leading the line for Häcken. The side previously known as Göteborg, are past quarter-finalists in the UWCL.
Dylan Holmes made her UWCL debut in Häcken's last fixture against Vålerenga.
The French giants beat Spanish side Levante 4-2 on aggregate to qualify for the historic UWCL group stage.
Carpenter featured in both fixtures for Lyon, playing a full 90 minutes in the side's last UWCL outing.
