There were plenty of Westfield Matildas on show when Arsenal defeated Everton 4-0 to jump into second place in the FAWSL. Caitlin Foord started and played 72 minutes, scoring Arsenal’s second goal, while Lydia Williams played a full game between the sticks for the Gunners and keeping a clean sheet. Hayley Raso was subbed off in the 73rd minute for Everton, who remain in fifth.

Chloe Logarzo started and played 68 minutes, however it was a tough day at the office for Bristol City – they lost 6-1 to the top-of-the-table Manchester United.

The game between Sam Kerr’s Chelsea and Alanna Kennedy’s Tottenham was postponed due to coronavirus concerns, as was the meeting between West Ham United (featuring Mackenzie Arnold and Emily Van Egmond) and Aston Villa.

Netherlands

PSV ended a three-game losing streak and kept second place in the Eredivisie with a 2-0 home triumph over Heerenveen. Amy Harrison played 90 minutes, and Kyah Simon entered the field in the 81st minute after a two-month absence due to injury.

Spain

Aivi Luik got another 90 minutes under her belt, however her Sevilla side were comprehensively beaten 6-0 by league-leaders Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Alex Chidiac was an unused substitute as Atlético Madrid scraped a 1-0 win away derby win over Real Madrid. Atlético are now three points off first place.
