Sam Kerr’s Chelsea played their third game in six days, after their UWCL game and Women’s FA Cup win, and they showed fatigue going behind just four minutes into the game when Reading’s Deanne Rose put the hosts in front.

Rose’s goal would be the first time Chelsea have conceded a goal in five WSL games, and the last time the reigning champions were scored against in all competitions dates back to October 13th when Juventus scored in the UWCL.

Emma Hayes had changed her usual starting line-up; however, Sam Kerr still made her third start of the week.

Hayes brought on her attacking threats Fran Kirby and Pernille Harder at the break to see if they could help find the equaliser, however, the reigning champions would have to face their second defeat of the WSL season.

A historic win for The Royals, with this their first triumph over Chelsea in the WSL.

Mackenzie Arnold and Tameka Yallop made the start for West Ham as they took on Everton, Yallop had the chance to open the scoring in the 24th minute, however, her shot from just outside the box was narrowly wide of the post.

Zaneta Wyne notched her first goal for the Hammers to give the visitors the lead before the break.

Toni Duggan equalised for Everton with 20 minutes to go, stealing two points for West Ham and seeing the Hammers collect their fourth draw of the season.

After a confident 5-0 win for Manchester City against Aston Villa before the international break, City was looking to climb the ladder when they took on Birmingham City.

Hayley Raso had a chance early, her cross into the box unable to be dealt with by the Birmingham keeper, but Ellen White sprayed the rebound into the side netting.

Raso then set Lauren Hemp up for a one-on-one chance, however, Hemp's shot would fly over the crossbar. Despite Manchester's flurry of chances, the hosts would be the first to take the lead, Raso brought down Veatriki Sarri in the box before Christie Murray put the hosts up.

A goal to Georgia Stanway just minutes later evened things up, however, Birmingham's lead would soon be restored through skipper Louise Quinn.

Raso and Hemp linked up once again, with that latter finally finding the back of the net to send both teams into the sheds drawn at 2-2.

Ellen White gave Manchester the win in the 80th minute, scoring against her former club. Alanna Kennedy made her first appearance for City since the start of November, making the start and playing the full game.

Emily Gielnik and Kyah Simon made the start for their respective clubs. Villa and Spurs were both looking to record wins after they faced defeat before the international break.

Remi Allen got the scoring underway for Villa, giving the hosts the lead 20 minutes into the game.

Kyah Simon would have the chance to level the scores just 10 minutes later when Ria Percival was bought down in the box and Simon stood up to take the eventual penalty, slotting home her first goal in Spurs colours.

Gielnik would have a chance to put her side ahead, but the Spurs keeper dealt with the threat. The visitors would eventually take the lead through Rachel Williams, getting Spurs back to winning ways with a 2-1 win.

The final game of WSL action saw ladder leaders Arsenal take on bottom of the table Leicester City, with a busy three-match week, Lydia Williams made the start in goals for the Gunners.

Goals to Jordan Nobbs and Vivianne Miedema gave the hosts a two-goal advantage going into the break, not only did the Gunners have a two-goal advantage they also had a player advantage as Leicester went down to 10 when Jemma Purfield was shown a straight red for pulling down Nikita Parris as the final defender.

Steph Catley came on in the 60th minute and was in the thick of the action, setting up Frida Maanum for Arsenal's fourth of the night.

Caitlin Foord was an unused substitute on the bench, this win puts Gunners four points clear of Chelsea in second place.

Moving over to France, Mary Fowler's Montpellier were looking to record their sixth win of the season when they took on ASJ Soyaux.

Fowler made the start and provided the assist for the only goal in the game, setting up Dominika Škorvánková for the winner in Montpellier's 1-0 showing.

Finally, Ellie Carpenter's Lyon continued to show their dominance in the Division 1 Féminine, extending their perfect run to 11 wins in a row.

Goals to Delphine Cascarino and Ada Hegerberg within 90 seconds of one another sealed the win. Paris FC got on the scoresheet in first-half stoppage time but were unable to find the equaliser in the second half.

Carpenter played out the entire game for Lyon, as they extended their unbeaten streak to 11 games in domestic competition and sit three points above Paris Saint-Germain on the ladder.
