Emily Gielnik's Aston Villa travel to take on Manchester United in their final game of 2021, with Villa attempting to break their two-run unbeaten streak and go into the new year on a high note.

The hosts come into this on the back of a 2-0 win away to Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend, with Marc Skinner's side starting to find some form after a slow start to the season.

Villa faced defeat throughout the week in their Conti Cup game, going down 1-0 to Blackburn Rovers and thus being knocked out of the competition.

The visitors have experienced a run of just one win in their last five games, their last victory coming in a 1-0 win over Birmingham City in the Second City Derby.

After scoring her first goal for Villa against Brighton, Gielnik has missed seven consecutive games for her new side due to a toe injury.

Since returning from international break Gielnik has featured in all three of Villa's games and will be looking to make an early impact against Manchester.

Kyah Simon's Tottenham Hotspur are aiming to remain in third place on the WSL ladder when they play host to Everton for their final game of the year.

The Toffees are currently on a three-game unbeaten run in the WSL after a slow start to the season, sealing a late equaliser against West Ham and last weekend's game.

Both sides are facing injury woes for their final game of 2021, with Everton's coach Jean-Luc Vasseur potentially only having 14 players available for selection.

Simon notched her first goal for Spurs in their 2-1 win over Aston Villa last weekend and will be hoping she can add to her tally against Everton and help her side remain in third place and keep the pressure on Arsenal and Chelsea in the top two.

This game kicks off on Monday morning at 1:00 am AEDT
