Starting off in Montpellier, Mary Fowler's side hosted Bordeaux in their final game of the season with the Aussies starting on the bench.

In an even contest, with the sides sitting in fifth and sixth, the two would go into the halftime break at a deadlock. Fowler entered the fold in the 75th-minute and was immediately in the thick of the action, putting a shot just over the crossbar.

A 93rd minute from Bordeaux's Mickäella Cardia saw the visitors walk away with all three points. Despite the loss, Montpellier still finish the season in fifth place with 35 points, this win saw Bordeaux also move to 35 points, however, they remain behind Fowler's side on goal difference.

Meanwhile, over in Lyon, Ellie Carpenter's Olympique Lyonnais ended the D1 season undefeated after beating 10th-placed GPSO 92 Issy 4-0.

Eugénie Le Sommer opened the scoring at the half-hour mark to give Lyon a 1-0 lead heading into the break.

Melvine Malard, Daniëlle van de Donk and Wendie Renard all had second-half goals to see out the 4-0 win, with van de Donk scoring on return after being sidelined with an injury.

After the win, Lyon lifted their D1 trophy for the 15th time.
