The wait is finally over!
The Olyroos booked their Olympic spot in January 2020 after finishing third at the AFC U-23 Championship in Thailand, with the Westfield Matildas qualifying two months later following a two-legged victory over Vietnam.
Tokyo 2020 will be the first time that both Australian men's and women's football teams will be at the same Games since Athens 2004. The Home of FIFA in Zurich will host the draws for the Olympic Football Tournaments, set for 21 April at 6:00pm AEST.
