In late news from Singapore, Qantas Joeys coach Martyn Crook has made just one change to the starting side for tonight-s second and final qualifying match against DPR Korea.

NSW midfielder Jared Lum comes into the side at the expense of Chris Bush in the only change to the side that beat Malaysia 2-0 in the opening qualifying match at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore.

Crook also welcomes back squad captain Brendon Hamill, who was missing from the first game because of an ankle injury.

The side is: Nicholas Tubbs, Marc Warren, Petar Franjic, Jared Lum, Joel Miller, Ben Kantarovski, Nikola Stanejovic, Kamal Ibrahim, Chehine Noujaim, Trent Sainsbury, Eli Babalj

Australia only needs a point to secure its place in the finals, but Crook knows his team will face a sterner test against the North Koreans than Malaysia.

"After doing well in the first game and winning the points, tonight will be about gaining the result necessary to secure our spot in the final 16," Crook said from Singapore.

The match kicks off at 9.00pm AEST.
